Naib Subedar is the First Shoulder Rank to which a Soldier can  be promoted. All Soldiers of the Junior Ranks  should pay compliment with Salute while reporting or crossing the Rank of Naib-Subedar and above. In PAF, Naib-Subedar is equal to the Rank of Assistant Warrant Officer. This is also non-commissioned officer rank in Pakistan  Army.

Subedar Rank In Pak Army

Subedar Rank is the next Higher Shoulder Rank for Soldiers after Naib-Subedar Rank. Shoulder Ranks in Army are the Assistant Incharge of the Army Units to Commissioned Officers. Subedar is equal to the Rank of Warrant Officer Rank of PAF. 

Subedar Major Rank In Pak Army

Can be a Principal Staff Officer and Command several wings and branches within GHQ i.e. Procurement and Weapon development or General Services or Adjutant General Division of GHQ. Can be a DG of Paramilitary Force like Rangers, FC , ANF and Frontier Corp responsible for the Whole province. Commands a Corps of 10-13K men.
