Cadet College Chakri is also known as Rangers Cadet College. Like other Cadet Colleges, Chakri Cadet College has also a special Admission Procedure for selection of Candidates in Class 8th. Admissions are announced every year in Class 8th for which all interested candidates can apply.
No special seats for Armed forces sons are alloted but all those students who are fulfilling the required criteria can apply for admission test in Cadet College Chakri.

Age of the candidates who want to apply for class 8th admission must have age between 12 to 14 years.
Candidate must have passed his 7th class before the date mentioned here is 1 April 2024.
Candidates must be medically fit as we know that in future he will have to appear for army medical tests also.
